This was a Swap in my Altered Art Group. The Contents were provided by the person you were to give it back to. I loved the little porcelain doll, the bird, the ceramic flower and the music. It was so much fun adding my own things to what she had provided. I actually took the outside box apart to cover it and glued it back a little bigger than before to aid in sliding.
Took a cool class from Fred Mullett today called "Dancing Rubber Fish" which was great fun! Very new and different embossing techniques using several powders at once on stamped image. Stamped image is stamped both black and white with grey blended with sponge at intersection. Then powder applied with coffee straw for accent then black and translucent powder added as well. Next you highlight areas with watercolor! It was a blast!
Here are my Greatgrandmother's pitcher collection partially! Yes this is a PICTURE of PITCHERS. I continue to work on things from my dad's house as he passed away this summer. So this will explain the reason for no art post yet!! Working on it!

All Hail the Royal Falcon! This paper weight was done before the Royal Wedding for a fun show called Chick Picks.
I'm back!! I haven't posted since last year - wow! I have been doing crafts and art just not as much. But I took care of my father thru his last days and my youngest is graduated from high school so I hope to use my art to express my feelings and share my joys the rest of this year and on! In the spring I was thrilled to enjoy showing some of my art at a wonderful home show called "Chick Picks". It was in the spring prior to the Royal Wedding so the theme was Royal. I made vintage england postcards, birds with crown paperweights and more.
