My latest collage!

A collage for a friend's condo. Love making art to match a color scheme or theme.
It is for her ocean condo and she wanted a little love of Maine in there plus her family info.
It was so much fun!
Lots of different items and techniques to include watercolor, napkins, tissue paper, fine specialty papers, transfer technique for names, stamping, stencils and more!
Happy New Year!

Ready for the Olympics to start tonight!! Made the Candy Jars with 1,2 and 3 for Bunko and then realized they would work for Olympics too! Filled with gold, silver and bronze ribbons and jingle bells! Finally found a use for all those trophies in the boys rooms too! The Olympic torch ornament is from years ago and is a Christmas ornament from Hallmark - wish I could hook it to lights so it would sound on each time we turn the lights off but alas 3 different strands proved to be incompatible! Oh well! Enjoy all!

Altered Matchbox Swap - Fairy Belle

The Closed Matchbox Cover

Inside standing on outside.

The Inside of Fairy Belle Box

This was a Swap in my Altered Art Group. The Contents were provided by the person you were to give it back to. I loved the little porcelain doll, the bird, the ceramic flower and the music. It was so much fun adding my own things to what she had provided. I actually took the outside box apart to cover it and glued it back a little bigger than before to aid in sliding.

FISHY TIME

Took a cool class from Fred Mullett today called "Dancing Rubber Fish" which was great fun! Very new and different embossing techniques using several powders at once on stamped image. Stamped image is stamped both black and white with grey blended with sponge at intersection. Then powder applied with coffee straw for accent then black and translucent powder added as well. Next you highlight areas with watercolor! It was a blast!
