My Great Grandmother Aimee Hyatt Spicer was born in 1879. She died in 1978 and I had the pleasure of knowing her. She was my artist grandmother's mother. She collected miniature pitchers and when my Dad died I wrapped them up and shared with the cousins. These are left and I had fun making a little Christmas tree with them as ornaments! Thanks Aimee!!

Here are my Greatgrandmother's pitcher collection partially! Yes this is a PICTURE of PITCHERS. I continue to work on things from my dad's house as he passed away this summer.
So this will explain the reason for no art post yet!! Working on it!

Royal Wedding and More...

I'm back!! I haven't posted since last year - wow! I have been doing crafts and art just not as much. But I took care of my father thru his last days and my youngest is graduated from high school so I hope to use my art to express my feelings and share my joys the rest of this year and on! In the spring I was thrilled to enjoy showing some of my art at a wonderful home show called "Chick Picks". It was in the spring prior to the Royal Wedding so the theme was Royal. I made vintage england postcards, birds with crown paperweights and more.
